I tried (and failed) to create a model of a light shade that was to resemble a hanging plant like the light design 'Midsummer light'

(Mine looks more like a ghostly bug's nest)

I wanted to have some sort of hanging plant, but I also thought lights would be a good idea, so why not combine them? 

The Midsummer Light looks as though it would project patterns through the tangled fabric.

In my SketchUp model I made my light transparent I didn't add much detail as it's hard to draw curves on an already curved surface. 

The Idea is there though.
