I've had some trouble with CryEngine, so that's why there's been a lot of SketchUp shots. The delay has given me time to refine my model however.
Even if it is spilling over into the other boat sheds...

I tried (and failed) to create a model of a light shade that was to resemble a hanging plant like the light design 'Midsummer light'

(Mine looks more like a ghostly bug's nest)

I wanted to have some sort of hanging plant, but I also thought lights would be a good idea, so why not combine them?
The Midsummer Light looks as though it would project patterns through the tangled fabric.
In my SketchUp model I made my light transparent I didn't add much detail as it's hard to draw curves on an already curved surface.
The Idea is there though.

The plants on the walls are meant to be succulents...

With chicken wire and peat moss, succulents can grow on a vertical surface.
But because the plants like sun, being inside would probably not be best.
So my succulent walls might have to be replaced with moss and ferns.

Succulents were chosen because they relate back to the Starfish flower seating arrangement and because they're my favourite plants.

Again with the shadows...

While messing around with ripped paper I tested some dappled light.

In my boat shed design I used 'Solar Ivy' to get this light-through-leaves effect.
The reason I chose it was because they look like leaves, project shadows like leaves and they even collect energy like leaves.
I feel like the function adds to the appeal of it since I really like the idea of Green Design, I feel any opportunity for natural energy collection should be seized.

Alternatively I could design my one solar leaves, or a solar panel pattern that resembled over growth. But I'll stick with the Ivy as a placeholder.

When playing with the sections in Sketch Up I came across this overlapping sort of pattern.
Tree branches aren't just flat, they spread everywhere and cross over each other...
